The Hairy Haggis Company

BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE BESPOKE STOOLS

A shy peelie-wallie little creature who dwells deep in the Highlands of Scotland nestled amongst the beautiful purple heather.
A friendly, hairy wee beastie whose origins are as mysterious as Nessie, our Loch Ness Monster.
Centuries of folklore have made Haggis very much loved by all the Clans in Scotland.
Very few have ever seen this elusive creature in the wild & those who have had a keek at one are said to be havering. Anyone attempting to tame this braw wee beast would be considered as glaikit by Highlanders.

You can personalise your wee hairy creature, whether it’s with a birth certificate with a special name & DOB, bows, glasses, hats etc.

The LUCKY ‘forget-me-knot’ tails are thought to bring a wealth of happiness to its owner.

A unique pet carrier with cozy bedding to keep your beastie warm till it reaches its forever home.

The Hairy Haggis Company was born from the love of Mongolian sheepskins. Whether it’s a rug, a cushion or a Hairy Haggis stool, a Mongolian sheepskin will always make a statement in any room.
These beautiful stools are very versatile, ideal for meditation, playing the harp or just to put up your tired feet while sitting on your favourite chair. It‘s not just for the adults either great for kids to sit on while watching tv or at the coffee table for colouring in.

The Hairy Haggis Company makes beautiful bespoke stools by hand, from cutting the locally sourced wood, sanding, adding 3 layers of bum padding to the final step of choosing which beautiful fleece to use to create a unique stool for weary feet or just to enhance a room.

Stools can be personalised for presents eg. birth certificate with a meaningful name & a DOB, matching hair & tail bows, hats, glasses, ribbons with a personalised message. Ideal as presents for wedding, births or just to say ‘I love you’

They come in their very own cardboard pet carrier with carry handle, bedding & airholes to let your Haggis snuggle safely till they get to their new forever home. A fun story about the history of the Haggis will also be included.

Mongolian sheepskin, also known as Tibetan lambswool, have a beautiful natural curl, they are unbelievably soft to touch, fluffy & feel very luxurious.
The pelt comes from hardy sheep that roam the rugged landscape of the Mongolia mountains so the stools continue to look as beautiful throughout the years.

The History image
Considered a delicacy for the Scots the Haggis was made famous by Rabbie Burns, a famous poet & lyricist who wrote ’Ode to a Haggis’ back in 1786.

On the 25th January every year Scots celebrate this much loved poet with a ‘Burns Night’; eating our national dish of Haggis, Neeps & Tatties, washed down with a nip of whisky, doning our clan tartan while bagpipes play loudly in the background and the ‘Address to a Haggis’ is recited.
